Head of Software Development, Finland

 

Xales is a Nordic startup developing SaaS solutions for e-commerce. Our aim is to help brands and retailers expand their sales channels and boost their e-commerce business through data. Xales supports several marketplaces, e-commerce platforms and financial management tools. In addition to these, we work together with agencies, finance companies, logistics firms and warehouse service providers to enable better customer experience for our clients. We are part of the CDON AB.

 

As our new Head of Software Development, we would like you to

  • Play a major role in the company how to create value-add software products in the business landscape of e-commerce.
  • Work as leading member of our technical architecture and software development.
  • Work closely with the customers and partners.

As our new Head of Software Development, you should

  • Have a strong view for business processes and turning those to software solutions and products, preferably from the e-commerce.
  • Be a result-oriented individual, with the hands-on attitude.
  • Have a good experience from web services and integrations, business intelligence solutions as well productizations of SaaS products.
  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills.

Junior Developer

We are looking for a Junior Developer to take part in developing scalable e-commerce SaaS solutions. We are growing fast and this is a new role in the company to ensure the fast growth in the future as well.

As our new Junior Developer, we would like you to

  • Work as a part of software development team.
  • Take responsibility of technical implementations without forgetting the quality.
  • Participate in customer onboarding.

As our new Junior Developer, you should

  • Have experience from some programming language, preferably from web or mobile applications.
  • Be eager to learn more about Agile software development and DevOps practices, and be able to grasp new concepts quickly.
  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills in English with other European languages being a definite plus.
  • Be a result-oriented individual with hands-on attitude.

The location of work is Helsinki or Oulu but naturally you can work remotely if that is something you prefer. This is a permanent full-time position and will be filled as soon as we find the right candidate.
